1 arrested after Edmond hit-and-run, pursuit leads to second crash

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — One person was taken into custody Monday after a hit-and-run crash in Edmond and a police chase led to a second wreck, reports KOCO.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the events first unfolded when the suspect was involved in a hit-and-run collision near Interstate 35 and East 15h Street.
According to authorities, the victim driver following the suspect vehicle following that crash and assisted OHP in locating the fleeing vehicle. OHP later spotted the car on the John Kilpatrick Turnpike, prompting a pursuit which ended in a crash.
At this time, no details regarding the circumstances of either wreck have been shared, and no injuries have been confirmed.
The hit-and-run suspect was arrested following the second collision.
