1 dead, 1 injured in crash on W 51st St in Sand Springs

SAND SPRINGS, OK – Authorities have released more information on the fatal crash on W 51^st Street in Sand Springs on Wednesday night, according to KTUL.

The crash happened east of Sand Springs at W 51^st Street S at about 8 p.m., when a 1969 Ford F-100 crashed.

42-year-old Stillwater resident David Crockett, a passenger in the vehicle, died at the scene.

The driver, who was not immediately identified, was taken to the hospital with non-critical injuries.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
