1 dead, another hurt after fiery wrong-way collision in Blanchard

BLANCHARD, OK – One person died and another was hurt as a result of a fiery wrong-way collision in Blanchard on I-44 on Wednesday, OKCFOX said.
The collision occurred before 7 p.m. at mile marker 101. Preliminary details show that a 75-year-old male driver was traveling east on westbound I-44 when he crashed head-on into another vehicle.
Both vehicles overturned before catching on fire.
The 75-year-old man, later identified as Oklahoma City resident William G. Dixon, died from his injuries. The other driver was left with unspecified injuries.
