1 extricated after crash with semi-truck on I-44 in SW Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — One person was hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash early Sunday on Interstate 44 in southwest Oklahoma City, according to KFOR.
The wreck occurred on the northbound lanes at Exit 115 to Southwest Expressway (I-240/U.S. Highway 62/Oklahoma 3). It was first reported by KFOR at 3:06 a.m.
Details remain limited, but authorities said a semi-truck and a single passenger car were involved. Oklahoma City Fire Department crew members were called to the scene to extricate one person who was trapped in the car. After the patient’s removal, they were transported to a hospital in unknown condition.
Following the accident, all northbound lanes of I-44 at the Southwest 59th Street exit were blocked as crews worked to clear the semi’s spilled contents from the roadway.
