1 extricated after pickup truck crashes off I-44 in SW Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — A man was rescued by fire crews Sunday night after a single-vehicle crash off Interstate 44 in southwest Oklahoma City, according to News9.
The accident occurred near Southwest 119th Street, east of South Lakes Park, at around 9:30 p.m.
No details have been shared regarding the cause of the wreck, but a pickup truck traveled off the roadway and crashed into a ravine.
Firefighters worked for around 40 minutes to extricate the male driver, who was pinned under the vehicle as a result of the crash.
After the patient was removed from the wreckage, he was transported to an area hospital. The extent of his his injuries was not disclosed, but officials said he is expected to survive.
