1 killed, 1 injured in collision on Kilpatrick Turnpike

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Officials with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol are investigating the cause of a crash that killed one individual and injured another on the Kilpatrick Turnpike Thursday night.
According to News 9, the collision occurred on the turnpike near North May Avenue. Police say one man was killed after he collided with a tree. A second vehicle was also involved in the accident, although it is unclear how. A passenger in that vehicle received minor injuries.
Both individuals were adult males, possibly in their 30’s. Their identities are being withheld pending notification of the families.
Details regarding an official cause of the accident remain under investigation.
