1 killed in four-wheeler crash on Collins St in Stonewall

STONEWALL, OK – A 66-year-old man sustained fatal injuries last Thursday in a four-wheeler crash in southeast Pontotoc County, reports KXII 12.
The single-vehicle crash happened along Collins Street, which runs north to south on the east side of the city of Stonewall. Officials haven’t provided a cross street for the accident.
The preliminary investigation indicates that the four-wheeler overturned after leaving the roadway for unknown reasons.
The driver of the four wheeler, identified as Darryl G. Prince of Stonewall, succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
It’s not yet clear what might have caused Prince to lose control of the vehicle.
The investigation is ongoing.
