TULSA, OK – A 1-year-old toddler was sent to the hospital following a rollover collision in Tulsa reported at 5 a.m. on Saturday, Koco reports.
Tulsa Police said the incident unfolded when a 17-year-old driving a car failed to stop at a stop sign and crashed into a curb.
The aforementioned car became airborne, plowed through a fence, and fell 15 feet below the Interstate 244 overpass.
The car landed on its hood, and the female toddler (who was not in a car seat) was left with unspecified injuries. EMS crews transported her to a hospital for treatment.
Police did not say if the other passenger, an 18-year-old adult, and the teenage driver were injured. Police did, however, say that the teenage driver may face charges.
A full investigation is underway.
