13-year-old boy killed in pedestrian accident in Westport

PAWNEE COUNTY, OK – A 13-year-old pedestrian was killed by a vehicle on Thursday evening near Westport, in Pawnee County, according to KFOR.
Around 6 p.m. in northeast Oklahoma, a 30-year-old Kansas woman struck the 13-year-old boy as the child crossed from the south to the north side of US Highway 64.
The boy was hospitalized and later died. The woman and her six passengers, between ages 3-10, did not suffer any injuries.
