15-year-old boy drowns in lake in NE OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A fifteen-year-old boy drowned this morning in a lake in northeast Oklahoma City, according to KFOR.

The accident happened just before 11:45 a.m. in a park at Memorial and Westminster.

The body of the child was pulled from the lake by a team of divers.

Emergency responders attempted to resuscitate the boy for about an hour, but they were not able to save him.

We have no information at this time as to the identity of the victim or as to what caused the child to drown.
