18-wheeler overturns on US-69 at E 660 Rd, injuring truck driver

WAGONER CO., OK – One person sustained injuries Friday after a rollover accident involving a semi along the highway in east-central Wagoner County, reports Fox 23 News.

The accident happened at U.S. Highway 69 and East 660 Road, or South 320 Road. This is between Wagoner and Mazie.

It’s not yet clear what caused the 18-wheeler to overturn, but police say the truck driver and his dog became entrapped. Emergency responders broke the windshield and rescued both the driver and his dog.

Medics transported the driver to an area hospital with undisclosed injuries.

A full investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident.
