At least two people suffered serious injuries in the southwest region of Oklahoma City in a recent accident involving four vehicles, an article of News Channel 4 reported on October 6.
Information coming from the Oklahoma City Police Department revealed that at about 5:00 a.m., two vehicles were involved in a rear-end accident between Council and Rockwell in the S.W. 44th eastbound lane. The two drivers, identified as Robert Joseph, 47, and Nicholas Hitchcock, 19, reportedly were “exchanging information” while outside their vehicles when they were struck by a third vehicle. A fourth vehicle was later involved in the mishap after the impact from the third vehicle pushed the first two vehicles to the opposite lane. Hitchcock and Joseph were listed in critical condition when they were brought to a hospital. Initial investigations revealed that none of the drivers were under the influence before the mishap occurred.
