2 hospitalized after fiery head-on crash in NW OKC

NORTHWEST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Two people were hospitalized after a fiery head-on crash in Northwest Oklahoma City on Thursday.
The collision happened off the intersection of Rockwell Avenue and Melrose Lane, according to News9. The incident unfolded when one driver left their lane, went into oncoming traffic, and collided with another vehicle head-on.
One of the vehicles caught on fire, and two people were injured and sent to a hospital.
Police did not specify the physical conditions of the two individuals or report any arrests.
Police said they detained a tractor-trailer driver for driving around the police blocks after the crash, but did not say if this person will face charges or if they were connected to this particular fiery head-on crash.
