MARIETTA, OK – Two people were injured, and a horse was killed in a pickup truck crash off Highway 32 near Salt Creek Road on Monday, KTEN reports.
The incident unfolded when a car swerved in front of a white pickup truck. A woman driving the pickup truck lost control of her vehicle, leading her to crash off the road.
The woman’s horse trailer attached to the pickup truck flipped over, and the horse inside died.
The woman was left with unspecified injuries and had to go to the hospital for treatment. Love County deputies confirmed another driver was injured, but did not specify if they were the pickup truck passenger or another occupant.
It also appears that the car driver fled the scene prior to Love County deputies’ arrival.
