2 injured in train vs. car collision at Hwy 51 and S 219th E

BROKEN ARROW, OK – Two people sustained injuries Thursday night in a collision involving a passenger vehicle and a train in Broken Arrow, reports Fox 23 News.
The accident happened around 8 p.m. on the tracks near the intersection of Highway 51 and South 219th East Avenue. This is on the southeast side of the city near Events Park.
Police haven’t yet disclosed the cause or circumstances of the crash. It’s unclear how many people were on the train when the wreck occurred.
Authorities say two people were hurt, though it’s unclear if they required hospitalization.
