Last week, 2 people were killed and 3 others were injured in a tragic car accident on Oklahoma 132.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 7:55 a.m. north of Coal Road. The 49-year old driver of a minivan in the northbound lanes of the highway veered across the center line and into the southbound lanes of Oklahoma 132.
The van moved into the path of another van driven by a 73-year old woman. The woman attempted to avoid being hit by the wrong-way driver, but the two crashed into each other in the northbound lanes.
Both drivers were killed in the car accident. 3 passengers in the first van suffered injuries and were taken to various hospitals for treatment.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims’ families and friends.
