2 killed in solo collision near Stratford

NEAR STRATFORD, OK – Two people were killed in a solo collision that occurred off U.S. Highway 177 around 11:30 p.m. last Tuesday, Dec. 9.
According to the Pauls Valley Daily Democrat, it appeared that the driver of the vehicle was speeding, which led them to lose control of their vehicle and crash into a tree.
The vehicle crashed into a grassy median and caught on fire.
The driver succumbed, and the passenger succumbed to their injuries.
The passenger has since been identified as Marie Womack from Sulphur, while the driver’s name has not been released.
