2 killed on Hwy 16 near 321st W after vehicle evades Mannford, OKC Police

CREEK CO., OK – Two people sustained fatal injuries Monday after evading police and crashing along the highway in south-central Creek County, reports News 9. 

The accident happened at night on Highway 16 just east of Bristow. This is about 33 miles southwest of Tulsa.

Oklahoma City Police have not yet disclosed the reason for the police pursuit, which they say began near Mannford.

The vehicle wrecked after police performed a tactical vehicle intervention maneuver near the intersection with South 321 West Avenue.

Authorities have not yet shared the names of the two victims.
