2 male drivers killed in wrong-way collision in Blanchard

BLANCHARD, OK – Two male drivers were killed in a wrong-way collision that occurred on H.E. Bailey Turnpike on Saturday night, News9 said.
Preliminary details from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reveal that a man driving a gray Chevrolet pickup truck was driving east on the westbound lane when he collided head-on with a man driving a white Toyota Camry.
OHP said both drivers wore seatbelts and died from their injuries at the scene. They were identified as 62-year-old Dale Gibson from Paoli and 47-year-old Larry Granger from Lawton.
Officials did not specify which man drove the Toyota and which one drove the Chevrolet pickup truck.
A full investigation is underway.
