2 pedestrians injured in Del City accident

DEL CITY, OK – An elderly woman was hospitalized after being struck by a car while walking with her grandson and dog Thursday night.

According to News on 6, the incident occurred near the Braum’s at Southeast 44th Street and Sunnylane Road. The woman was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition while the boy was treated for cuts and scrapes and released from the scene.

The driver remained on the scene to render assistance to the victims. No charges have been filed in this case as of Friday afternoon.
