2-vehicle collision along OK-48 south of Mannford kills 1

CREEK CO., OK – A Mannford man sustained fatal injuries Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash along the highway in north-central Creek County, reports Fox 23.

The accident occurred around 6:57 a.m. on OK-48 just south of Mannford and southeast of Lawrence Creek. This is about 25 or 30 miles southwest of Tulsa.

Police haven’t yet shared any details regarding the circumstances of the accident except to say that the victim may have been pinned before authorities arrived.

Officials identified the victim as Lyndon Dauwen.

It’s unclear if anyone sustained injuries or required hospitalization as a result of the crash.
