2-vehicle collision at Hwy 70 and Tyler Rd kills 1, injures 1

MCCURTAIN CO., OK – A 22-year-old woman died on Saturday afternoon after a two-vehicle collision at an intersection between Millerton and Garvin, reports KXII 12.
The incident happened at 12:51 p.m. at Highway 70 and Tyler Road, which is just southwest of Quails Nest Tiny Village.
Police say that a southbound 2006 Ford F250 neglected to yield the right of way at a stop sign and crashed into a 2009 Dodge Journey.
The driver of the SUV, identified as Bristina Colbert, died at the scene of the accident.
Medics airlifted the 49-year-old driver of the Ford to the hospital with serious injuries.
