2-vehicle collision kills 1, injures 1 in Bryan Co.

MEAD, OK – A 74-year-old woman died on Monday afternoon after colliding with another vehicle at an intersection in Mead, reports KXII.
The incident happened at 6:09 p.m. at the intersection of US-70 and Leavenworth Trail, which is just east of Lake Texoma RV Resort.
Police say the woman’s vehicle entered the path of a pickup truck after pausing for a stop sign in the intersection.
The force of the collision caused the 49-year-old male driver of the pickup truck to become pinned in the wreckage. Crews extricated him and transported him to a local hospital.
The female driver died after transport to the hospital. Officials identified her as Patsy Brown from Silo.
The investigation is ongoing.
