2-vehicle crash at Rock Creek Rd and 60th Ave in Norman injures 4

NORMAN, OK – A two-vehicle crash at a busy intersection in northwest Norman injured four people on Sunday afternoon, reports KOCO News 5.

Police say the accident happened just before 12:30 p.m. at Rock Creek Road and 60th Avenue Northwest, which is northeast of Sunset Ranch.

Authorities haven’t yet disclosed the cause of the collision or the manner of the crash impact.

Medics transported two people to the hospital with critical injuries and another two with serious injuries.

One of the drivers fled the scene on foot. Police apprehended and arrested the hit-and-run driver on Sunday night.

Officials closed roadways in the vicinity of the crash while emergency teams helped the victims and crews worked to clear the scene.

A full investigation is underway.
