2-vehicle crash at SE 44th and Sunnylane kills 1, injures 1

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A major crash in southeast Oklahoma City fatally injured one person and hurt another on Saturday morning, reports KOCO News 5.

The accident happened around 6:45 a.m. near the intersection of Southeast 44th Street & Sunnylane Road. This is just south of Del City and near the Oakcliff Shopping Center.

Police say the collision involved two vehicles but haven’t yet shared any details about the cause of the crash or the manner in which the vehicles impacted.

One person died at the scene. Authorities haven’t released their identity to the public.

Medics transported the other victim to an area hospital with undisclosed injuries.
