2-vehicle crash near Reno and S Czech Hall in OKC kills 1, injures 1

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – One person died Sunday night when their vehicle collided with a truck near a busy intersection in western Oklahoma City.
According to KOCO News 5, officials responded to the West Watch area accident around 8:30 p.m. near the intersection of Reno Avenue and South Czech Hall Road.
It’s not yet clear what caused the accident. Police say that for unknown reasons, an eastbound driver lost control of his vehicle and hit a truck near the intersection. The eastbound vehicle then ignited, killing the driver at the scene.
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the victim.
The truck driver went to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
