2-vehicle crash on OK-51 at Aspen Ave kills motorcyclist

BROKEN ARROW, OK – A 37-year-old motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries Monday in a two-vehicle collision along the highway in Broken Arrow, reports Fox 23 News.
The motorcycle accident occurred around 1 a.m. on the eastbound side of OK-51, or the Broken Arrow Expressway, at North Aspen Avenue on the northwest side of the city.
Police say that a motorcyclist was speeding when he lost control of his bike and crashed into the rear of a passenger vehicle.
Medics attempted to resuscitate the biker, but he succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Authorities identified the victim as Scott Allen Zinn.
No other injuries have been referenced in connection to the accident.
Officials closed the eastbound side of the Broken Arrow Expressway in the area of the crash while emergency crews gathered evidence and worked to clear the scene.
