2-vehicle crash on OK-51 near S 4725 Rd kills Arkansas woman

STILWELL, OK – A 20-year-old Arkansas woman died last Saturday from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash along the highway in southeast Adair County, reports CNHI News.

The incident occurred just after 7:30 p.m. on OK-51 just east of Stilwell and between South 4725 Road and East 821 Loop. This is just south of the Ozark Plateau National Wildlife Refuge.

Police haven’t shared any details regarding the cause of the collision or the manner of the crash impact. They say the accident involved a 2016 Ford F250 and a 2017 GMC Sierra.

Authorities declared a passenger from the Ford deceased at the scene. They identified her as Lauren Gilson.

No other injuries have been reported in connection to the crash.
