2-vehicle crash on S 312 Way at E 700 Rd kills 1, hurts 1

WAGONER CO., OK – A Thursday morning collision along a roadway near Wagoner killed a 30-year-old female driver and injured a 41-year-old male driver.
The incident happened just before 7 a.m. in the area of South 312 Way at East 700 Road, which is not far from Whitehorn Cove Fire and Rescue.
The investigation thus far indicates that a southbound motorist veered into a northbound lane and collided head on with another vehicle.
The driver of the wrong-way vehicle died after transport to a local hospital. Authorities identified her as Trudy Jenkins.
Medics transported the driver of the second vehicle to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
