2-vehicle crash on US-82 near Locust Grove kills 1, hurts 2

MAYES CO., OK – A 43-year-old man died Thursday after a two-vehicle collision along the highway in southern Mayes County, reports KOCO News 5.
The incident happened just before 12:08 a.m. on OK-82 near Locust Grove, which is about 47 miles east of Tulsa.
Police say that the driver of a 2006 Toyota Matrix died at the scene after his vehicle collided with a 2024 Toyota Camry. Authorities have not yet identified the victim.
Medics transported two people from the Camry to the hospital in non-critical condition.
