2-vehicle DUI crash on CR 202 near Woodward kills 1, injures 3

WOODWARD CO., OK – A 17-year-old young man has died from injuries sustained Saturday in a two-vehicle crash along CR-202 in west-central Woodward County, reports KOCO News 5.
The incident happened around 10:55 p.m. just a couple miles south of the city of Woodward.
Police say that the 42-year-old driver of a Nissan Armada was intoxicated when his vehicle struck a Dodge Charger carrying four teenagers. The latter vehicle was attempting a U-turn at the time of the accident.
Medics transported all four occupants of the Dodge as well as the driver of the Nissan to the hospital with injuries.
The driver of the Dodge died sometime after transport.
The driver of the Nissan has since returned home. There’s no word yet on the conditions of the other teens.
It’s unclear if the driver of the Nissan will face charges in the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
