2-vehicle head-on crash along I-40 near Okemah kills 1

OKFUSKEE CO., OK – A 52-year-old man died Thursday after a head-on collision along the interstate in central Okfuskee County, reports Fox 23 News.
The incident happened around 9:10 p.m. on I-40 between the cities of Okemah and Pharoah. This is east of Oklahoma City and south of Tulsa.
Police say that a westbound Dodge Ram entered the eastbound side of the highway and collided head-on with an eastbound semi-truck.
The driver of the Dodge, identified as Michael Seely, became entrapped in his vehicle for several hours before dying at the scene of the crash.
Medics transported the driver of the 18-wheeler to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
