22-year-old man killed in early-morning Sand Springs motorcycle crash

SAND SPRINGS, OK – A motorcycle accident in Sand Springs, about nine miles southwest of Tulsa, early this morning led to the death of a 22-year-old motorcyclist, according to Tulsa World.
The accident happened at the intersection of 137th West Avenue and 41st Street S just before 2:30 a.m. when the driver of a 2016 Ford Fusion, a girl from Sand Springs, collided with the 22-year-old driver of a 2014 Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, Sand Springs man Jason Fincannon, died as a result of the accident. He was not wearing a helmet when the crash occurred.
The Fusion’s driver was not injured in the collision.
Authorities continue to investigate the accident at this time.
