CLEVELAND COUNTY, OK — Three people were injured Thursday night in a wrong-way crash involving multiple vehicles on Interstate 35 near north Moore, reports KOCO.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the collision occurred on the northbound lanes near Northwest 12th Street.

According to the crash report, a driver in a 2014 Honda Accord was traveling south in the northbound lanes when another driver swerved to avoid the Accord. The second driver ended up side-swiping the Accord, causing it to come to a stop across two inside lanes. Moments later, a third driver hit the driver’s side door of the Accord.

Authorities also learned a fourth vehicle was damaged by flying debris, and a fifth vehicle ran over a tire that had detached from the Accord.

The driver of the Accord was transported to a local hospital, where they were listed in good condition.

Two people in the third vehicle also suffered undisclosed injuries and were taken to a hospital.

A section of the northbound interstate was shut down during the emergency response.

At this time, officials have not released details regarding any pending charges.
