3 hurt in rear-end crash involving Bartlesville public school bus in Luther

LUTHER, OK – Three people were hurt as a result of a rear-end crash involving a Bartlesville public school bus on Saturday, News9 said.
The rear-end crash occurred at the intersection of Kickapoo Turnpike and Luther Road. According to law enforcement’s preliminary details, an SUV driver saw debris on the road and pressed on the brakes of their vehicle to stop. Moments later, the school bus crashed into the back of the SUV.
The impact of the collision led the SUV and bus drivers and a third person to sustain unspecified injuries.
Officials confirmed there were 14 children on board the school bus, and did not confirm if the third person who was injured was one of the children or an SUV passenger.
Luther, Wellston, and Oklahoma police, and Luther and Wellston fire crews all responded to the scene of the crash.
