3 killed in 2-car crash on I-44 at E 1440 Rd near Lone Wolf

KIOWA CO., OK – Three people died, and a toddler went to the hospital Monday after a two-vehicle accident in northwest Kiowa County, reports OKC Fox 25.

The collision occurred at night near the intersection of I-44 and East 1440 Road between Lone Wolf and Lugert. This is about 132 miles southwest of Oklahoma City.

Police say the crash involved two Chevy pickup trucks. They’ve not determined the cause of the wreck, nor have they disclosed the manner in which the two trucks impacted.

Both drivers died in the accident, as did an adult passenger from one of the trucks. Authorities identified the victims as 26-year-old Dustin L. Bradford, 28-year-old Jillian A. Hernandez, and 33-year-old Skyler R. Speck.

Medics transported a two-year-old girl to the hospital with unspecified injuries.

A full investigation is underway.
