3 people, dog rescued from Lake Overholser following crash

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — Three people and a dog were rescued Sunday evening after their vehicle drove into Lake Overholser in west Oklahoma City, reports News9.
The accident happened in the area of Oklahoma Highway 66 and North County Line Road. It was first reported by News9 shortly after 10:30 p.m.
Details are limited, but officials indicated a driver had overcorrected their car, leading to the wreck.
Oklahoma City fire crews had to pull three occupants and a dog out of the vehicle. It was not immediately clear whether anyone was seriously injured or taken to a hospital.
After the victims were rescued, plans were underway to remove the vehicle from the lake.
