3-vehicle crash involving 2 semi-trucks on I-40 at MM 109 kills 2

GEARY, OK – Two people died on Saturday afternoon in a three-vehicle crash involving two 18-wheelers and a Kia Soul, reports KFOR News.
The incident happened around 5:44 p.m. on the eastbound side of I-40 near mile marker 109, which is just west of Maple Elementary School.
The circumstances of the accident are still unknown. Police say it involved a 2021 Kia Soul, a 2021 Peterbilt, and a 2024 International.
Authorities identified the deceased victims as 60-year-old Gracielia Hawkins and 61-year-old Maria Daniel. Hawkins and Daniel were occupants of the Kia Soul at the time of the accident.
The two truck drivers did not require hospitalization.
