30-year-old woman drowns in Tulsa County swimming accident

SAND SPRINGS, OK (TULSA COUNTY) – A woman drowned in Keystone Lake yesterday afternoon after jumping into the lake and not resurfacing, according to KFOR.
The victim, 30-year-old Lindsey Thomas, of Edmond, was swimming near a bank of the Keystone Dam area of the lake sometime before 3:55 p.m. She jumped from the rocks and into the water.
When she did not surface, a friend of hers went to retrieve her. Unfortunately, she died at the scene of the accident at approximately 3:56 p.m.
