The dog who was accused of biting a 5-year-old was held by the Humane Society Pikes Peak Region, a January 3 article of KRDO reported.

A Saint Bernard named Duke bit a 5-year-old child, requiring emergency treatment. The mother shared pictures of the child’s injuries to KRDO. In response, the dog’s owner requested that the dog be euthanized, according to the Humane Society. On the other hand, they alleged that the Oklahoma rescue where Duke was adopted from requested that it be returned to them for adoption. Consequently, the Humane Society said they will hold the dog until the court system provides further direction.
