5-vehicle collision along US-75 in NW Colbert injures 2

COLBERT, OK – Two people sustained injuries Sunday in a multi-vehicle collision along the highway in southwest Bryan County, reports KTEN 10 News.
The accident happened in the afternoon along US-75 near the weigh station on the northwest side of Colbert. This is just north of the Texas and Oklahoma state line.
Police haven’t yet commented on the cause of the accident, nor do we know the manner in which the five vehicles impacted.
Medics airlifted two people to an area hospital with injuries of unknown severity.
Officials closed US-75 in the area of the wreck while emergency teams attended to the victims and worked to clear the wreckage.
A full investigation is underway.
