5-vehicle crash at SW 29th and S MacArthur injures 3

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Emergency crews responded to a multi-vehicle crash with injuries at a major intersection in southwest Oklahoma City on Thursday morning, reports News 9.
The accident happened sometime before 6:30 a.m. in the area of Southwest 29th Street and South MacArthur Boulevard, which is just north of Will Rogers International Airport.
Police haven’t yet determined the cause of the wreck, which involved a total of five vehicles and caused lane closures along South MacArthur Boulevard while teams worked at the scene.
Medics transported one person to the hospital with serious injuries. Two people were hospitalized with unknown injuries.
Authorities arrested one person in connection to the accident. It’s unclear if they will face charges.
