6 hospitalized in OKC bus crash at SE 27th and Walnut Ave

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Multiple people sustained injuries Tuesday in a two-vehicle crash involving a bus in south-central Oklahoma City, reports News 9.

The accident happened around 2:45 p.m. at Southeast 27th Street and Walnut Avenue, which is just southwest of Wheeler Middle School and northeast of Oliver Park.

Police say that a pickup truck with one occupant collided with an EMBARK bus carrying eight people.

All nine people involved in the wreck sustained minor injuries. Six people required hospitalization.

There’s no word yet regarding the cause or circumstances of the crash.

A full investigation is underway.
