63-year-old man, 77-year-old woman killed in crash with semi-truck in Wagoner

WAGONER COUNTY, OK – A 63-year-old man and a 77-year-old woman lost their lives as a result of a crash involving a semi-truck on Thursday.
OKCFOX said the crash happened before 1 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 69 and East 690 Road. Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the 63-year-old man, identified as Paul Simmons, lost control of his BMW on a wet road, went over the center median, and collided with a semi-truck.
Simmons and his 77-year-old female passenger, identified as Connie Johnson, unfortunately died from their injuries.
