1 injured when car strikes semi on NW 23rd St in NW Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — At least one person was hurt early Monday in a crash involving a tanker truck near northwest Oklahoma City’s Musgrave-Pennington area, reports FOX25.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Northwest 23rd Street and North Meridian Avenue at around 4:30 a.m.
Few details have been released at this time, but Oklahoma Police said a car veered past the center line and into the opposing lane, where it collided with the fuel tank of a semi-truck.
One person was reported injured, but the patient decline transport to a hospital.
A section of North Meridian Avenue was shut down in both directions as crews worked to clear the fuel spill from the roadway.
