Cyclist killed in hit-and-run crash near Oklahoma City intersection

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — One person died Tuesday evening after being struck by a vehicle while riding a bicycle on North Meridian Avenue in west Oklahoma City, according to KOCO.

Oklahoma City Police responded to the scene near the intersection with West Reno Avenue at about 6:15 p.m.

The circumstances behind the incident remain unclear at this time, but authorities said the cyclist was fatally hit by a driver in a black truck who fled the scene.
