Semi crash, fuel spill blocks eastbound Turner Turnpike in Wellston

LINCOLN COUNTY, OK — A truck hauling a crane overturned Tuesday morning on Turner Turnpike, causing a traffic backup near Wellston, according to News9.
The accident occurred on the eastbound lanes approaching Exit 158 to Oklahoma Highway 66/U.S. Route 66 at about 10:00 a.m.
Authorities have not released information regarding the cause or circumstances of the wreck, but no injuries were reported in the event.
Eastbound traffic was at a standstill as crews worked to clear a resulting fuel spill from the roadway. Commuters were advised to find alternate routes around the scene.
