Student dies after two-vehicle crash on SW 134th St in south Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — A 15-year-old Westmoore High School student died Thursday after a crash that hurt three others in south Oklahoma City, reports KOCO.
Oklahoma City Police said the fatal wreck occurred near the corner of Southwest 134th Street and South Pennsylvania Avenue.
Authorities have not shared the events leading up to the wreck, but two pickup trucks were involved. One pickup was occupied by five people, and the other was occupied by just a driver.
Of the five occupants in one truck, one victim died as a result of their injuries, and three others were left in critical condition.
Police said all six people involved in the wreck appeared to be students at the high school.
An investigation is ongoing, but speed is being considered as a contributing factor.
