OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — At least one person was injured Thursday morning due to a multi-vehicle wreck on Interstate 240 in south Oklahoma City, according to TTN Oklahoma City.
The accident happened on the eastbound lanes approaching Exit 3 to Santa Fe Avenue. It was first reported by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol shortly before 6:25 a.m.

Few details have been disclosed at this time, but the exit ramp, two right lanes, and the outside shoulder were blocked at different points during the response.

Morning commuters were warned of a traffic backup that formed down to Pennsylvania Avenue at Exit 1.

By 7:25 a.m., nearly an hour after the initial report, crews had cleared the scene and all lanes were announced reopened, with traffic beginning to recover.
