Driver injured after crashing into patio of OKC eatery

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Medics transported a driver to the hospital Friday after she crashed her vehicle into a restaurant patio near the lake, reports KOCO 5.
The incident happened around midnight at Louie’s Grill and Bar, which is located just east of Lake Hefner near the corner of Lake Hefner Parkway and Britton Road.
The investigation indicates that the driver lost control of her vehicle and overturned onto the patio of Louie’s Grill and Bar. The driver told police that she thought she was headed westbound on Lake Hefner Parkway when she was actually driving west on Britton Road.
The driver sustained injuries in the crash but is expected to recover.
No other injuries have been announced in connection to the accident, which remains under investigation.
